  1. Ticket purchasers must be 18 years of age or older to enter the Windsor Spitfire Foundation Raffle.
  2. The raffle will take place during the 2021/2022 Ontario Hockey League season with monthly draws as outlined in Schedule A.
  3. Tickets are available for purchase at the following prices: 1 ticket for $5, 10 tickets for $10, 60 tickets for $20, and 200 tickets for $50.
  4. Tickets will be available online via spits5050.com .
  5. To purchase an online ticket in the Raffle, you must supply us with certain personal information (such as name, home address details, date of birth, payment card details and e-mail address). Certain information (NTD: name, home address details, date of birth, and e-mail address) may be shared with AscendFS Canada Ltd. (“Ascend”) in order to process your request to purchase a raffle ticket. By purchasing a ticket, you consent to us sharing this information with Ascend.   6. Tickets will be sold using the electronic raffle system supplied by Ascend Fundraising Solutions.
  7. For those raffle tickets purchased in-person, patrons will be given by the sellers, a receipt with their 50/50 registered numbers from a Random Selection System. No specific numbers can be given as numbers are generated randomly. All tickets purchased online will be delivered via email only. It is the responsibility of the ticket purchaser to ensure that they receive their tickets, however, purchasers do not need their tickets in hand to be included in the draw. If you have not received your ticket(s), please contact info@windsorspitfiresfoundation.ca.
  8. The winning ticket number will be selected by Random Number Generator (RNG), from all raffle ticket numbers sold during the designated raffle period.
  9. The amount of the 50/50 will be displayed on the Windsor Spitfires Foundation’s websites, specifically spits5050.com, and windsorspitfiresfoundation.ca.
  10. The winning number will be announced and posted to spits5050.com, and windsorspitfiresfoundation.ca at the conclusion of the draw.
  11. The winner may claim their prize by contacting Windsor Spitfires Foundation at: 519-254-9256, or by email at: info@windsorspitfiresfoundation.ca. The winner will be paid by cheque for the amount posted online via the online sales purchase portal for which they bought their ticket. Winners must have the original winning ticket and no copies.
  12. The winning ticket holder has 6 months to claim their prize from the date of the draw.
  13. Winners will be required to provide their full name, address, and phone number upon claiming their prize. Once the certified winner is verified, they will be given a cheque in the amount of the declared prize which is, at minimum, 50% of the total sales for that event. If the winner cannot provide photo ID, then the winning proceeds will be held until such identification can be provided.
  14. In the event that no winner comes forward, prizes will be secured for a period of six (6) months following the draw. Unclaimed prizes will be reported to the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario and a charitable donation will be made to another organization, under the approval of the AGCO.
  15. The following persons are not eligible to participate in the Windsor Spitfires Foundation 50/50 draws: Windsor Spitfires Foundation Directors or members, Windsor Spitfires Inc.’s employees, and Cypher Systems Group Inc.’s employees and/or shareholders.
  16. All orders will be processed and fulfilled using the Ascend Fundraising Solutions raffle management system. In the event of any discrepancy, the records of Ascend Fundraising Solutions shall be deemed correct and final. Windsor Spitfires Foundation is responsible for the conduct and management of the raffle. The liability of the licensee shall be limited to the purchase price of the ticket.
  17. The above set of Rules will be posted on the Windsor Spitfires foundation website windsorspitfiresfoundation.ca.
